As you may be aware, most Architectural Designers and Architects charge either a percentage based fee or an hourly fee. Here at Timeless Homes we believe in providing all our clients a Firm Quotation before work starts. That’s right, no ballooning hourly rates and no confusing percentages based fees. We simply quote you a fair price for the work and get it done, no worries. Unfortunately, some consultants do charge us per hour, so, where that is the case, we’ll get you an estimate before we employ those consultants and will advise, once work is underway, if we believe the estimate is unlikely to be accurate. Our quote for design fees uses our simple ‘Fixed Fee’ Design Stage and/or Project Management Agreement. This is simply our Totally Transparent Policy. We don’t like surprises and neither should you! Once we have priced your build project, we will provide you with the Master Builder Federation Residential Building Contract RBC1-2008. This agreement uses a percentage based payment system which means that all work is paid for with Progress Payments or as the work is completed. As Registered Master Builders, we only ask for a 5% Construction Deposit in accordance with the Master Builder Federation Payment Schedule and Master Build Services Guarantee scheduling requirements. A sample copy of the Master Builder Federation Residential Building Contract RBC1-2008 can be supplied to prospective customers upon request.
