This page showcases some of our more recent awards
for homes built by our company. Only the Registered Master Builder who
built the home can enter the Master Builders House of the Year awards. If you see our awards elsewhere please
let us know! The awards recognise excellence in construction
workmanship, creativity and innovation and there are several categories.
Regional winners can compete on a national level. All the awards, below, were
received in the Wellington and Wairarapa Regional Competitions. A Gold award recognises that the build
was of a 80 to 100% better than industry standard, or twice as good as
industry standard. A Silver award
is set at 65 to 79% better than industry standard and a Bronze award is at
least 50 to 64% better than industry standard. The highest scoring entry in a
category is awarded Category Winner
status. Judging is set on par around the countryside with different panels of
judges judging an entire category with each panel throughout the country.
This meticulous judging system ensures that properties are judged to the same
standards throughout New Zealand. |
